A lot of the time i sort of struggle to think of creative ideas for painting, seeing as i mostly just do portraits when i work digitally, i try to think about what i can do to make it more interesting.
doing full body images is a bit daunting to me at the moment so i am slowly trying to work my way into doing that, clothing for me proves a bit of a problem
So most of my ideas comes from a spur of the moment thought, or being sat in a coffee shop left to my own thoughts. It's always good to try and get out more and observe and look around at your environment.
Drawing on location can help too, don't be afraid to sit down somewhere with your sketchbook and draw, its relaxing and can really help with ideas. The noise, atmosphere and lighting of the place you're at can really be beneficial if you're stuck when thinking of what to draw
i'll leave you with some reportage drawings i did on location a few days ago
